These gorgeous melted crayon craft ornaments are so much fun to make! Not only are they bursting with bright colors but they are so easy to make. Easily make 20 ornaments in less than 30 minutes with this fun tutorial.
I’m so excited to share my latest Christmas craft with you all today. And, this might just be my favorite one yet! We haven’t put our Christmas tree up yet but we had a blast making these gorgeous melted crayons ornaments. They are so quick and easy to make, we just couldn’t help ourselves. If you love the look of the paint swirled ornaments but don’t want the mess then this is the craft for you. Clean up is a breeze and these vibrant ornaments are ready in no time.
Supplies needed to make your own melted crayon craft ornaments:
- Glass Ornaments
- Crayons
- Cupcake Liners
- Muffin Pan
- Oven Mitt
Start by preheating the oven to 185 degrees. While the oven is heating up, peel the crayons and break into small pieces.
Line muffin tin with cupcake liners. Add 4-5 crayon pieces to each glass ornament. Place one ornament with opening facing up on each cupcake liner. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes.
Remove muffin pan from oven and swirl each ornament until melted crayons coat the inside of each ornament. Work quickly because the crayons cool fast. If the crayons cool before you’ve had a chance to swirl them, just place back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
And, that’s it. How gorgeous are these ornaments? I can’t decide which color combination I like best. I love the light blue and navy blue together and I LOVE the pink and red. Have fun coming up with your own color combinations and most importantly, have a blast creating these Melted Crayon Ornaments for your own Christmas tree.
