Looking for last minute gift wrapping ideas? Think outside the box! This mason jar Christmas craft is a fun and festive way to “wrap” smaller gifts, like gift cards and jewelry, with a handmade touch. If you love mason jar crafts, snowmen, and fun ways to wrap gifts, this Snowman Gift Jar is the perfect project for you. It’s also super easy to make.
Supplies needed to make your own Snowman Mason Jar Christmas Craft:
Step one. Add glue dots to three black buttons and adhere the buttons to the front of the mason jar to create the snowman’s body.
Step two. Next, remove the mason jar lid and fill the jar with white crinkle cut paper. I filled my jar almost to the top because the gift will push the paper down. Add your gift to the mason jar and screw the lid back onto the jar.
Step three. Cut the felt sheet into one inch strips so that each strip measures 1 x 12 inches. Wrap the felt strip around the mason jar and cut a small slit on one side of the strip where the piece of felt comes together. This was about 3 inches from the end for my jar. Pull the one end of the felt strip through the small slit and pull tight to form the snowman’s scarf.
And, that’s it! All it takes is three easy steps to make these adorable snowmen gift jars so you can have even more time for gifting.
Aren’t they adorable?! This is my kind of holiday craft project – quick, easy, and fun. It’s also the perfect way to wrap small gifts and gift cards.
Who else loves a mason jar Christmas craft as much as I do?
