Nothing says “Christmas” quite as much as jingle bells! Here’s an easy tutorial on how to make your own DIY Christmas decor jingle bell tree that would be perfect for a mantle or tablescape. It only requires three basic supplies and plenty of patience!
- Jingle Bells – Matte Silver/Gold (13 packs)
- Durafoam Cone – 9.85 inches
- Silver Fern Greening Pins (2 packs)
Step One. Open and separate all the jingle bells by color and size. This is a great step to let a little one help you with! They love the sound of the bells and practice separating skills at the same time. Win/win!
Step Two. Starting with the largest bells at the bottom, attach the bells to the foam cone with the greening pins. You can make organized rows like my version or just place them scattered around. Both versions would look great!
Step Three. Continue going up the cone with the bells using the medium and smaller ones when necessary. You will find it necessary to trim the pins the closer to the top. I eventually had to cut the pins in half and fold them in a U-shape with pliers.
I love how the different metallic stripes look on my DIY Christmas decor jingle bell tree but would also love to see one that was all one color, like a bright red or blue! Or what about a medley of bright pink, red, and gold? Wouldn’t that be gorgeous? Luckily, Consumer Crafts has so many jingle bell varieties to choose from!
