At Christmastime, there are often friends or neighbours whom you want to give a little something, but you just aren’t sure what.
Well, if you know that they enjoy a nice wine with dinner, then your problem is solved! Consumables are fantastic Christmas gifts (no clutter, no worries about style or size) and sometimes, you can enjoy that nice Pinot Grigio or Merlot with them! (That’s always a bonus.)
How to wrap a wine bottle supplies:
- Paper Mache Wine Box
- Felties Ornament Stickers
- Sharpie Marker
- Adhesive Vinyl and Silhouette Cameo OR
- Letter Stickers
These wine boxes are a great size. You could also slip a bottle of anything nice (so long as it’s not wider than 4.25X4.25 inches) in there. I think Bailey’s would also be a lovely gift over the holidays.
Using my Silhouette Cameo, I cut out the phrase, “contents: holiday cheer” from adhesive vinyl and then used transfer paper to put on top of the box.
If you go this route, really take the time to go over the transfer paper with a credit card (or scraper) in order to make sure the vinyl sticks.
You can also use sticker letters (the gold ones are my favourite) to create the same saying, if you don’t have a cutting machine.
And you’re done! Wasn’t this how to wrap a wine bottle project easy?!
The box is ready to make its way to a friend or family member, with a little something special inside. I love that the box is solid – it makes for easier transport, and is much more likely to be passed on again.
