If you are like me then you are probably thinking about gift ideas for the holidays. We all know how much people love a handmade gift. I know I do! It’s always so sweet when my kids come home from school with a handmade gift. Not only is it fun to receive, but it’s even more fun to give them! There’s something special about making a personalized craft for someone you care about, but sometimes it can seem overwhelming to come up with ideas. Today’s embellished framed printable quotes project is an easy gift idea that is not only affordable but it can be assembled in less than 10 minutes.
Supplies needed to make your own framed printable quotes:
- 8×10 Distressed Picture Frame
- Ivory Burlap Flower
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Printable Quotes (Gratitude Quote here) (Anne Frank Quote here)
First you’ll want to start by printing out the printable quotes on bright white paper. After you print out your quote, you’ll trim it down to 8 x 10″ and place it into the frame. Next up comes the fun part of embellishing the frame. This is where you can get really creative with different elements like flowers, ribbons, feathers, etc. I found this lovely burlap flower and knew it would be perfect. It is a simple embellishment but adds just the right touch to finish off the frame. Simply trim the stem of the flower off with scissors.
Now you’ll apply hot glue to attach the flower to the frame. Placing the flower on the bottom corner of the frame works great whether the frame is displayed vertical or horizontal.
That’s it! Your framed printable quotes gift is done. A super simple and lovely Christmas gift to spread holiday cheer that can be displayed all year long.
