Gift Packing Ideas: Five Ways to Package Edible Gifts

Cake & Candy· Christmas· Winter

It is that time of year again!  Gift giving season is upon us.  We have 5 gift packing ideas on how to package edible gifts for you today.  A few supplies will have you packaging up small or large amounts of delicious treats for  neighbors, friends, and more.

5-edible-gift-packing-ideas-Crafts-Unleashed5 Gift Packing Ideas for Edible Treats:

Gift packing ideas #1: Mason Jars.

First we have a pretty mason jar holding a few cookies or maybe even your homemade fudge.  For this one you will need:supply-list

  • Wide Mouth Pint Mason Jars
  • Gold Tissue Paper
  • Chalkboard Labels

Put your edible gift on the inside of the jar.  Add a few circles of the gold tissue paper to the lid before adding to the top.  Screw on the band and add a chalkboard label to the center.  Write in your recipients name for a fun gift idea in minutes.

Next is a mini basket overflowing with edible delights.  For this one you will need:

  • Wood Favor Baskets
  • Gift Basket Wrap
  • Kraft Paper Tags

Add your cookies or other treats to the basket.  Cut a smaller piece from the large gift basket wrap.  Set the basket in the center.

Go simple with some mini Chinese food boxes.  For this one you will need to get:

  • 8 oz Chinese Food Boxes
  • Large Gift Tags

There is really nothing to this one y’all.  Just add your treats to the container and fold closed.  Tie on a gift tag and head out the door with a fun mini edible gift.

I am sort of in love with wedding favor boxes for gifts like this.  The next idea uses:

  • Window Favor Boxes
  • Chalkboard Labels

Just add your treats so that they are visible from the window, close, and add a chalkboard label.

Most of the above ideas are intended for enough edible treats for one person.  Need to gift more?  Maybe a gift for an entire family?  Try this next idea!  Grab the following items from Consumer Crafts:

  • Chalkboard Labels
  • Pastry Window Boxes

Just fill the box until your heart is content and top with a chalkboard label.  So simple and so festive!
