When the temperature digits are dropping, nothing is more comforting than a steaming hot mug of your favorite beverage. There could be a crazy blizzard going on outside but you’ll be just fine as long as you’re bundled up in your favorite flannel pajamas on the couch with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Here are some fun “Stay Warm” DIY snowman beverage stirrers that will lighten anyone’s mood during the winter months. You can make them as a fun pick-me-up for your own house or package them as a winter treat for friends!
- Plastic Spoons
- White Make ‘n Mold Dipping Candy
- Orange Make ‘n Mold Dipping Candy
- Edible Color Markers
- Pretzel Rod Bags
- Black/White Baker’s Twine
- Chocomaker Candy Melter
- “Stay Warm” Free Printable Tag
Step 2. Once the white candy has melted completely, switch the melter to “warm” and begin dipping spoons into candy. As you pull out the candy coated spoon, try to shake off any excess and create a nice smooth surface. Apply “carrot” to the center and allow to harden completely.
Step 4. If you’re planning on using them for yourself, just place them in a covered container for later. However, if you’re planning on gifting them, just place a couple of the stirrers in the tall bag and secure with a piece of baker’s twine and the free “Stay Warm” gift tag.
