Sometimes crafting is less DIY and more rearranging pre-made items! Today’s rustic star decor piece is exactly that. I took some really cute (almost finished) craft items and combined them into a DIY holiday decoration. It took me about five minutes and that was mostly paint and hot glue drying time!
- Decorative Barn Wood Star.
- Peace Script Wooden Cutout.
- Studio 71 Ireidescent Gold Paint.
- DecoArt Tuscan Red Paint.
- Fir Pine Roping with Berries.
- Hot Temp Glue Gun.
To begin your DIY holiday decoration, paint the wooden “Peace” cut-out gold. Set it aside and allow it to dry. Then paint the outer rim of the barn wood star red. Allow it to dry.
That’s it! I am using this DIY holiday decoration on a shelf, as it is. I think it would also be darling hanging from the center of a wreath. However you choose to display your barn wood star, I think you will be pleased with how easy it is to assemble! Consider adding this glittery star garland to your decor this season for another easy DIY holiday decoration idea!
I hope the rest of my holiday decorating goes this smoothly!
