With just a few supplies you can make these hot glue DIY frame ornaments for your Christmas tree! This is a quick and easy project that’s perfect for framing memories to display on your tree. You can also learn more about using hot glue in new ways with a book that’s featured at the bottom of this post. You definitely don’t want to miss it!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY Frame Ornaments:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Non-Stick Crafting Mat
- Hot Glue Sticks in a variety of colors (you can use glitter or any color you like)
- Template (print shapes from the internet)
Start by laying the non-stick mat over the top of a printed template. You can make these frames in any shape that you desire.
Add a small piece of string to the top with a bit of hot glue. Then, start applying the hot glue directly to the mat in lines. Make 3 -4 lines around the entire shape then allow the shape to cool.
Once cool, peel the hot glue from the non-stick mat and add in a picture. Your hot glue frame ornaments are complete and ready for your tree! You can mix and match colors of glue on one ornament as well to create a varied look.
These DIY frame ornaments are perfect for hanging on your own tree but they also make the perfect gift for family and friends!
