Every year I come up with a resolution to make all of my holiday greeting cards and every year I make a mad last-minute dash to the store to buy them. I always have the best of intentions at the beginning of the year but, as most of you can relate, time just seems to get away from me and it’s the middle of December before I know it. This year, my resolution may be the same but I’ve come up with these easy silhouette design Christmas card ideas that will make getting the job done so much easier!
Supplies needed to make these Christmas card ideas:
- Evergreen Tree Die Cut Border
- Snowflake Die Cut Border
- Neutrals 6 x 6 Paper Pack
- A2 Blank Cards and Envelopes
- Die Cutting Machine
- Red & White Baker’s Twine
- Double Sided Foam Sticky Strips
The trick that makes these cards so easy is that you’re using both the negative and positive sections from each die cut. Nothing is wasted with this project!Trim each of the die cut shapes to fit on the card.
Place the die cut shapes in place on the cards. Don’t forget to add a piece of baker’s twine if you plan on adding a bow!
You can either leave the cards like this or add a sentiment to the front. I went with just my handwriting but you could also use a stamp.
And there you have it! These super easy Christmas card ideas give me hope that I will actually be able to send out homemade cards this year. Hope you have as fun making these as I did!
