Men are often difficult to shop for, as we all know. They are even more difficult to make gifts for. With this in mind, I created an easy DIY gift for men stocking stuffer for the guy in your life!
- Leather Wrap Bracelet (you can make two keychains from this)
- Embroidery Floss or Yarn
- E-6000 Adhesive
- Large Bead
- Crop A Dile Punch (one of the most useful tools in my craft arsenal!)
Step 5: Tie the split ends into a knot. Tighten it up by pulling each split end very hard. Cut any excess from the ends.Step 6: Use the Crop A Dile to punch two small holes in the leather piece. I just eyeballed this part. Fold the piece in half and you’ll be able to tell where you’ll place the key ring at the top. You want holes on either side of that fold.Step 7: Cut a long piece of yarn or floss and slip it through the holes, pulling the leather pieces together. Wrap and wrap and wrap until you like the look and feel it will be secure.Step 8: Use E6000 to glue down the last several wraps of the floss. Cut the ends of the floss and press them into the glue. Now your DIY gift for men is done! This keychain DIY gift for men takes about 10 minutes to make (or less) and then you let the glue dry. Pretty easy and quick, huh? You know, I honestly don’t like labeling things ‘for men’ or ‘for women’ and this gift is the perfect example of why I dislike it. Because I love this keychain for myself! It’s totally appropriate for a man or woman. I think anyone in your life would appreciate this keychain’s simplicity and the beautiful leather, don’t you?
