I’ve always been a big fan of creative gift wrap and fun DIY Christmas box ideas. It’s such a special way to really jazz up any gift! This DIY Christmas tree gift box is so easy to make and it’s perfect to fill with small goodies or wrapped candies for coworkers, friends, and family! Just follow the simple steps below to learn how it’s made.
Supplies needed to make your own DIY Christmas box ideas:
- Paper Mache Christmas Tree Box
- Mini Ceramic Tree Lights
- Tacky Glue
- White Paint + Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
- Tinsel Stems
Step 1. Paint your Christmas tree box white and allow it to dry completely.
Step 2. Bend your gold tinsel stems to create mini garlands for your tree. Once your stems are bent the way you like, cut them so that they wrap nicely over the lid of your box.
Step 3. Using a hot glue gun, attach the bent tinsel stems to the lid of your box.
Step 4. Cut the stems off of your mini ceramic tree lights (this is easily done with a regular pair of scissors).
Step 5. Use your tacky glue to glue the mini lights onto the lid of your box. I used 9 lights for my box and lined them right under the gold tinsel stems.
And that’s it! What are you going to fill your Christmas tree gift box with?
