If you are looking for a DIY winter wreath that will look great on your door all winter long, look no further than this deer antler wreath. You can dress it up with a red bow for Christmas and leave it plain for the rest of the months leading up to spring. This wreath is super simple to make as well so it is perfect for people of all craft skill levels.
- 24 inch Pine Wreath
- Resin Faux Deer Antlers (3 required)
- Snow Tipped Pine Cones (8 required)
- Guinea Pheasant Feathers
- Almond Pheasant Feathers
- Heart Pheasant Feathers
- Floral Wire
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
Your pine wreath will probably be flat from shipping so start by fluffing the wreath and straightening out any crushed areas. Then use the floral wire to wire on the deer antlers. Randomly place them around the wreath.
Now all that is left is to fill in the wreath with the feathers. I did clumps of all three types of feathers and used hot glue to secure them into place. I used almost the entire package of all three types of feathers on my wreath.
Just randomly place the feathers around the DIY winter wreath until you love the results. You can use more or less depending on your taste. Finish off the wreath by removing any glue strings and fluffing out the pine branches more if needed. Then just hang on any door in your home.
You can definitely add a large bow for Christmas or just keep it this way all winter long. This deer antler DIY winter wreath is perfect for those that want one wreath to last for several months. I know I will have this one hanging in my home for a while!
