Summer is almost upon us and so are pineapples! Pineapples are delicious and give the feel of paradise without flying all the way to Hawaii. It’s also fun to be able to decorate with pineapples! Why not enjoy this fun, summery trend with some DIY pineapple craft stickers? A while ago I painted watercolor pineapples and thought they’d be fun on a sticker. These pineapple stickers are so easy and you can even make them without a cutting machine, although it will be much easier with a cutting machine.
You can put these DIY pineapple craft stickers on note books, cards, paper, etc! They’re just the right size to print off and cut. I have included the free cut files below for your Silhouette cutting machine or an svg to go with any other machine.
Supplies needed to make your own DIY pineapple craft stickers:
- Print Vinyl Sheets
- Cutting Machine (optional)
- Silhouette File, SVG File, or just Printable Pineapple Stickers
Step 1. Print Stickers
If you are just printing the DIY pineapple craft stickers without planning on cutting with a cutting machine, then just simply print!
If you will be using a cutting machine, you want to print your stickers based on how your cutting software works. For this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to do it in Silhouette. If you downloaded the silhouette file, than the registration marks should already be on there. But if not, go ahead and add them. Go to page set up and click the registration button. Then selection under style type 1. Double check to make sure the registration marks aren’t touching the pineapple anywhere.
Then print.
Step 2. Cut
Now you want to place it back on your cutting mat in the correct placement. If you’re cutting machine has any variation from your mat, adjust accordingly. Now go ahead and cut. It’s kind of like magic as it will cut it almost perfectly around the pineapple.
Now you have your stickers! You can cut them out in rectangles and give them to people as little gifts or favors. These DIY pineapple craft stickers are so easy and fun!
