This year, the Easter Bunny will be showing up on our tablescape – in the form of a push pop!
I enjoy making every holiday fun for the kids, especially when it comes to holiday treats. Today, I’m going to show you how to dress up plain push pop containers into adorable Bunny candy-filled push pop Easter treats.
Supplies needed to make your own bunny push pop Easter treats:
- Push Pop Containers
- Pink and White Core’dinations Cardstock
- Moveable Eyes
- Ribbon
- Pink Pom Poms
- Baker’s Twine (I used Black and White Twist)
- Tacky Glue or Low Temp Glue Gun
- Candy
Step 1: For the Easter treats bunny ears, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out two different sizes. If you don’t own a cutting machine, you can hand cut two oval shapes. Make one slightly smaller than the other and glue the pieces together.
Step 2: Using a low temp glue gun, glue the bunny ears to the top of the container. If you’re making this Easter treats craft with children, I recommend using tacky glue or double-sided tape.
Step 3: Glue the moveable eyes onto the push pop containers.
Step 4: For the whiskers, I cut 3 small pieces of baker’s twine and glued the pom pom in the center of the twine to keep them together. Then, I glued the pom pom and twine on the push pop container.
Step 5: Use a Sharpie marker to draw the bunny’s mouth. I then add bows to the bottom and filled the containers with white Easter egg candy.
These adorable Easter treats are fairly simple to make and the kids will love them! They’re perfect for parties and Easter gatherings.
