Mother’s Day is coming up and one of my favorite things to do on Mother’s Day is to take a little time for myself and have an opportunity to relax just a little bit. I rarely take baths but when I do, I love adding beautifully scented bath soak to my tub. So today, I am showing you how to quickly make amazing bath soak! Bath soak makes a perfect gift for Mother’s Day and you’ll be so surprised at how simple it is to make!
- Epsom Salt
- Abbey & Sullivan Fragrance Oil (I used Strawberry)
- David Tutera Hinged Lid Glass Jars
- David Tutera Wood Favor Basket Set
- Red Food Coloring (optional)
Begin by placing some Epson salt into a bowl. Add a few drops of your fragrance oil and stir. Keep adding fragrance oil until the salts smell as fragrant as you like. You only need a few drops for about a cup of salts, so add slowly and carefully.
At this point you can package these up in a cute glass jar and be done! So this next step is purely optional, but I love adding a few drops of food coloring to the bath soak to give it a little color! Plus, who wants strawberry bath soak that isn’t at least tinted to be the same color as strawberries!?
I packaged my bath soak in a beautiful glass hinged jar. And then I put a few strawberries in a cute wooden basket to create the perfect gift!
Do you have any plans for Mother’s Day?
