With Easter being so much earlier this year and falling in March, there is no better time than the present to start thinking about how you’ll be celebrating with your littles. I’m already knee deep in basket prep, home decorating, and planning out fun activities that we can complete as a family. Whether you choose to craft on your own or with those kids for the upcoming holiday, I’ve got a super fun and easy idea for Easter bunny treats in a jar that are sure to be crowd pleasers!
Supplies needed to make your own Easter Bunny Treats in a Jar:
- David Tutera Hinged Lid Glass Jars
- Core’dinations White Card Stock
- Core’dinations Pastel Pink Card Stock
- White 1.5 inch Pom Poms
- Craft Scissors
- Low Temp Glue Gun
- Pencil
- Jelly Beans or Other Candy
Step One. To begin creating your Easter bunny treats, fill the jars with jelly beans or other candy and make sure the top is sealed closed.
Step Two. Use the scissors to cut one elongated bunny ear shape from the white card stock. Trace the bunny ear on the white card stock and cut it out to create an identical ear.
Step Three. Use the original bunny ear and trace it two times on the pink card stock. Cut them inside of the lines (a little smaller) to create the inner ears.
Step Four. Bend the bottom of the ears to create a tab that will help the ear stand up.
Step Five. Glue the pink inner ear to the white outer ear and then glue the ears to the lid of the jar.
Step Six. Glue one of the white poms to the back of the jar to create the tail for your Easter bunny treats.
These Easter bunny treats in a jar turned out so adorable and can be used in a variety of ways! Use as an addition to your child’s Easter Basket, as a fun kids craft to complete together, or as a treat to hand out to teachers and friends, the list goes on!
