Easter Egg Window Treat Bags

Easter· Party Favors

Aren’t today’s sweet and easy treat bags just darling?

The pastel colors of Easter and Spring are my favorite! After a gray and gloomy winter, I am more than ready for happy pops of color!

Easy Treat Bags for EasterThe oval “egg” shaped window are pre-made on the treat bags I used. I was so happy to find them! They make perfect grass-sitting Easter eggs.

Supplies needed to make your own easy treat bags for Easter:

  • Candy Favor Bags with Window
  • Oh So Trendy Striped Ribbon (or other ribbon of your choice)
  • SweetWorks Shimmer Sixlets Candy
  • Lime Green Cardstock

Easy Treat Bags for EasterLet’s get busy with these easy treat bags for Easter!

Cut bright green cardstock into 1.5×2.75″ pieces. (One for each treat bag that you are making.)

Easy Treat Bags for EasterFringe the cardstock pieces to make them look like Easter grass.

Add a strip of adhesive to the bottom of each treat bag.

Easy Treat Bags for EasterAdd the cardstock pieces, making sure that they are flush to the bottom of the bags and centered.

Easy Treat Bags for EasterCrinkle the “grass” to give it texture.

Open the treat bags, and add your selected candy. I used sixlets here, but any small candy will be darling! Gumballs, lemon heads, even colored popcorn!

Easy Treat Bags for EasterFold the bag closed.

Add holes on each side of the top of the treat bag.

Easy Treat Bags for EasterString ribbon through the punched holes.

Easy Treat Bags for EasterTie the ribbon into a bow, and trim the ends.

Easy Treat Bags for EasterYou could add a cute tag to the ribbon bow if you wanted.

Repeat for as many easy treat bags that you need!

Or just a darling addition to add to an Easter basket.

Shaunte is a 30-something, chocolate-loving, SAHM from Utah. She has been scrapbooking since 1997, the dreaded era of photos cropped with deco scissors. Since then, her work has evolved into a clean, linear, photo-focused style. Her favorite subjects to scrap are her husband and five kids (never a lack for subject material there).
