In case you are unaware, fall is knocking on our door! The temperature is dropping, the leaves are already starting to change and the kids are back in school. Fall is one of my favorite seasons – apple picking, pumpkin picking, the holidays are approaching. And since I love to surprise people with small unexpected gifts, just a quick way to let them know I’m thinking of them, or thanking them for being in my life and supporting me, I decided to whip up a few inexpensive and simple fall gift ideas with printable fall tags. These will especially come in handy with all the new neighbors that are moving into our new development in the coming weeks!
Since it’s fall, I went ahead with a fall theme and put together two simple food gifts. Apples and Sea Salt Caramel, which is a total fall flavor, and Peanut Butter and Chocolate Muddy Buddies with Reese’s Pieces, which is full of fall colors. Read on to see how I pulled the gifts together.
Supplies needed to make an apple and caramel dip gift with fall tags:
- Apple
- Small Jar of Caramel Sauce
- Clear Treat Bags
- Baker’s Twine
- Printable Fall Tags
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
Place the small jar of caramel into the treat bag.
Consider using Sea Salt Caramel, which can be typically found in the ice cream aisle of your grocery store. It is a nice change from regular caramel! You can also purchase a large jar of caramel and transfer portions to small mason jars if you have lots of gifts to make.
Top the jar of caramel with an apple, tie off the bag with baker’s twine and attach the adorable fall tags that I designed!
Supplies needed to make a peanut butter and chocolate muddy buddies gift with fall tags:
First, we need to make the deliciousness that is peanut butter and chocolate muddy buddies. Follow the recipe below. If you would prefer to go for a flavor that screams fall, substitute the chocolate chips with caramel apple chocolate melts!
