Mini Rosemary Wreaths

Christmas· Seasonal· Wreaths

Nothing grows in my backyard, except for weeds and rosemary.  I don’t have a green thumb, but rosemary is such a hardy plant it survives months of neglect.  I love the smell of rosemary and it can be used for all sorts of holiday dishes, from turkey, prime rib, potatoes, the versatility of this herb are endless.  Plus you can craft with it.  Today I will show you how to make mini rosemary wreaths. These wreaths are perfect for hanging in your house or to use as a gift topper.

Mini Rosemary Wreaths

Materials for your mini wreaths:

  • Rosemary
  • Ribbon
  • Grapevine Wreaths
  • Green wire

Wash and cut rosemary to 9 inch lengths.  The long the better, but try not to get the really woody parts of the rosemary, as they will be hard to bend.

Wrap green floral wire around wreath and rosemary.

Go around and bend rosemary securing with wire.  At the end tie a festive ribbon in a bow.  Trim off any extra rosemary.

Affix on top of a present with bakers twine and voila! You have a pretty, wrapped present.

I love rosemary and I absolutely adore these little wreaths! Such a sweet idea to add them to Christmas packages. I am planning to plant rosemary bushes in my yard this coming year and this will definitely be happening in my house next Christmas:) I’m co-hosting a Christmas link party and I would love it if you linked these up! http://addicted2diy.com/2013/12/12/last-minute-christmas-link-party/

These are so cute! And I’m sure they smell wonderful. They would be cute around a candle too.
