Easy handmade Christmas cards – that is what I wanted to make this year. The addition of a second child has taken up more of my time than I thought it would have. Last year she took long naps and I could craft while she was sleeping. Now I have a very curious toddler who thinks naps are optional. I have also been on a natural-looking craft spree. I am hooked on burlap, jute and kraft cardstock.
- Kraft Card Blanks and Envelopes
- Double Edge Punch (I used Martha Stewart Crafts Vine Trim Punch)
- Core’dinations Cardstock (color of your choice)
- Mini Glue Dots
- Core’dinations Sand It Set: Sand It Gadget & Dust Buddy Combo Pack
Print the saying you want on the card front. I used the Saxi Font from Duetica.
Sand the paper to your desired look and remove the dust with the Dust Buddy.
Trim of the excess and there you have it a very clean and simple, super easy handmade Christmas cards. If you want to make the cards even easier, you can skip the sanding step in the process. There are a wide variety of punches available and you could easily use the same concept with a different pattern punch.
