October has arrived! I’ve been working on my Halloween ideas for awhile now and I’m excited to have put on the finishing touches over the weekend. Today I’m sharing an easy Halloween bat display in my entry way. I used the spooky glam lantern as my centerpiece, then added a few items that went with the glam and rustic feel I was going for.

Supplies needed to make this easy bat display:
Have you noticed all of the 3D bat displays around? I’ve wanted to make one for the last few years and now I’m wondering what took me so long. This project was very quick and easy to complete using my Silhouette Cameo. I found a bat shape in the online store, then cut three different sizes of bats. I folded them in half to create a dimensional look, then used double-sided tape to adhere them to the wall. You will want to make sure you use a strong but removable adhesive that won’t damage the wall paint. Another idea is to use foam squares.
I also made shabby burlap bows on the lanterns to accent the wood piece under the lantern in the center. I used two different sizes of the votive lanterns., then a couple of natural pumpkins mixed with glitter pumpkins and my display was finished!
