I am so excited for Halloween! It’s such a great time of year for working out your crafty muscle – and oftentimes, the crafts are so simple that the kidlets can get involved. Today, I’ve got a great Halloween craft for kids to show you!
I wrangled up my brood of little crafters and we made some Ghost Grams to send to friends. These ghost Halloween craft for kids are just lollipops dressed up in ghost’s clothing. Bring them to school or leave them on doorsteps – they’re a great way to get into the Halloween spirit!
- White Felt
- Black Adhesive Felt
- Thread or Baker’s Twine
- Cardstock to make a tag (optional)
These Ghost Grams are so simple to make that your kids can make them almost entirely on their own. (I told you this was a great Halloween craft for kids!)
To start, trace out a circle onto the white felt. We opted to use a bowl, as it’s easiest to trace when you’ve got something sturdy to follow.
Wrap the felt around the lollipop, and then secure the “head” of your ghost by wrapping around its neck with white thread or baker’s twine. You can either tie the string with a knot or secure it with a bit of hot glue.
And the fact that the felt is already sticky is fabulous for the younger set. No hot glue, no mess – just slap that face right on your little ghost!
Add a little message to your Halloween craft for kids ghost and gift him to a friend!
