Looking for a cute last-minute Halloween gift for your daughter or friend? Then you’re going to love this Halloween Apothecary pin tutorial. It comes together super quickly and is adorable to boot! I mean, seriously, who wouldn’t love to wear a mini vintage apothecary jar for Halloween?! They, of course, don’t have to know just how inexpensive and easy it was to make. Let’s get started…
Supplies needed to make your own Halloween Apothecary pin:
- Glass Charm Bottles.
- Pin Back.
- Orange or Black & White Grosgrain Ribbon.
- Silver Aluminum Jump Rings.
- Mini Glue Gun.
- Darice® Lime Green Extra Fine Glitter.
- Double Sided Hercules Tape™.
- “Halloween Apothecary Pin” Free Printable.
Step One. Fill the glass charm bottle with glitter. It’ll be so much easier if you make a small funnel out of some scrap paper, trust me!
Step Two. Glue the cork lid in place. Use a jump ring to attach the sealed bottle to the pin back. Make a small bow out of the ribbon and glue in place over pin back.
Step Three. Cut out one of the small “Powdered Eye of Newt” labels and adhere in place with a piece of double sided tape. Done! Now you get to decide if you want to give your tiny Halloween Apothecary pin away or keep it for yourself. I promise, I won’t tell!
I’ve included a small gift tag to the “Halloween Apothecary Pin” free printable just in case you decide to gift it. Just punch two small holes into the card, attach the pin, and give to one of your favorite witches. “Eye” just know she’ll love it!
Hope you have a great Halloween filled with magical memories!
