One of the things I love about Halloween is the fact that you can wear silly and fun stuff that you would otherwise not wear on a day-to-day basis. Today I’ll be sharing a fun and easy way to create an adorable accessory that would be perfect for you, your kids or even your little pets! Come and see how I created this glittery bat witch hat DIY headband today!
- Gold Glittery Foamies Sheet
- Scrapbook Paper
- Round Frame Charms
- Wire Headband
- Felt Doll Witch Hat
- Hot Glue Gun
- Vinyl + Electronic Die Cutter (optional)
- Bat Template – download here for personal use only!
Step 1. Print a word onto your scrapbook paper of choice, or cut it on vinyl with your electronic die cutter. I used vinyl as it was the easier route for me. You can definitely skip this step but I believe it gives a fun character to the project – and don’t forget, you can be creative! Replace it with a monogram, a funny word or even a photo. Adhere it onto the epoxy dome (no need to use any kind of adhesive as the epoxy dome comes with a sticky back).
And you’re done! This fun witch hat DIY comes together in minutes and is definitely a fun way to accessorize for the Halloween season. I’m planning to make matching ones for my little furbabies to wear with their Halloween outfits! What are YOU planning to dress up as on Halloween?
Finish off your Halloween accessories for the season with this creepy monster eye necklace DIY Halloween project!
