With Halloween right around the corner I’ve been preparing treat bags to give our friends and family ahead of time. We’re going out of state the week before and returning just in time to take the kids trick or treating. To make things easier I’ve been working on making a basket full of treat bags like these vellum ghost bags and the spiderweb DIY Halloween treat bags I showed you yesterday. Using vellum, vinyl and a sewing machine you can make these DIY ghost treat holders in a snap!
Aren’t these just the cutest?! Follow along as I show you how simple and quick they are to make.
Supplies needed to make your own DIY ghost treat holders:
- Silhouette Vellum
- Book Shape Nesting Die Cuts
- Die Cutting Machine like the Cuttlebug V2
- Black Vinyl
- 1/2 inch and 1 inch Circle Punch
- Sewing Machine
Step one. Use the new Darice nesting dies and die cutting machine to cut two pieces of vellum for each bag. I used the second largest die cut but you can use whichever shape you choose.
Step four. Apply the two smaller vinyl circles to the bags as eyes and the larger circle as the mouth.
