This year for fall I decided that color is in and am bringing in a more vibrant color scheme than I have in years past. One of the ways that I was able to incorporate a bit more color into my decor was with this easy colorful DIY fall table runner using craft foam leaves. This project was so simple, inexpensive, and only required three supplies, but made such an amazing visual impact on my table. The best part is that you can easily customize the colors to fit your own fall color palette!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY fall table runner:
- Foamies Foam Leaves (I ended up using only 4 packs for my 4′ table, but your amount will vary depending on the size of your table)
- Spray Paint or Craft Paint (I went with emerald, pink, and peach)
- Hot Glue
Once you have your leaves unpacked, remove the gold and copper glittered leaves and set aside. Take your solid color leaves and paint them using spray paint or acrylic craft paint in your choice of colors.
Now that all your leaves are painted, use a hot glue gun to attach the leaves to each other. You want to create a long 6″-8″ wide runner. I found it best to let the leaves overlap a bit with the top of the leaf pointed outwards.
So what do you think of this color palette? Quite different, but I absolutely love it! What colors are you liking for fall this year? Whatever they are, I am sure they would look fabulous in this stunning yet easy colorful DIY fall table runner.
