I was inspired by some metal candle wraps in Family Circle and decided to make my own. I decided to recreate these using black card stock and some paper punches. Super simple and gorgeous too!
- Martha Stewart Edge Punch
- Martha Stewart All Over Punch (NOTE: Both punches I used were Martha Stewart but any craft punch would work for this project. The all over punches are perfect for these wraps as you can punch anywhere on the page.)
- LED Tea Lights
- 6 inch Candle Sleeves (NOTE: These are real wax candle sleeves that your LED tea lights will just slip down into and they come in various sizes)
- 3 1/2 inch Candle Sleeves
- Black Cardstock
- Double stick tape
Next get out your punches and start coming up with designs on your card stock. I used this edge punch down both edges of one wrap. Please note I left a small area on each end to use for the double stick tape and so the punched piece would not detach.
When you have your designs, wrap them around your candle sleeves and hold in place with double stick tape. These are so fun to make and look great when grouped together. For the 6 inch candle, I used a combination of the two punches pictured above.
