Are you looking for a fun kid’s craft that appeals to girls and boys, that keeps them entertained for quite a while, AND one that you probably already have all of the supplies on hand for? It sounds too good to be true, right? These fingerprint snowman note cards were the ticket to turning a bad weather day, into a good craft day!
- Mini Kraft Cards with Envelopes (you could use whatever cards you have on hand, just make sure they have a colored base)
- White Acrylic Paint
- Colored Markers with a finer sized tip, we liked these:
Place a small amount of paint onto a paper plate or scratch piece of paper.
Distribute the note cards to the kids. We decorated the envelopes that came with the cards too!
Make sure to place the note cards with the opening at the bottom. We accidentally made a few upside down because we were in a finger printing frenzy!
Protect clothing! Again with the creative frenzy. We really get into our crafting here.
When the paint is dry, you can begin to “dress” your fingerprint snowmen, and give them faces.
When the snowmen are finished you can add small googly eyes, paint some snowy hills for them to stand on, or splatter paint some snow. However you want to personalize your fingerprint snowman note cards. You could even have your creative team sign their names to their creations!
These fingerprint snowman cards are perfect for gift enclosures, to add a personal touch to your holiday season.
A craft that is fun and also functional is always a winner in my book! While you’re at it, this snowman mason jar gift is another fun craft that’s simple enough for kids!
