Summer is almost here and lemonade stands are a definite must! This fun lemon DIY rosette garland is such a perfect accent for your lemonade stand OR a fun addition to a summer tropical party! See how easy it is to assemble and make your own.
Lemon DIY Garland Supplies:
- Yellow Cardstock, varying yellow colors
- Scissors
- Adhesive Roller
- Glue Gun
- Bakers Twine
- Trim and Score Board
Step 1. Cut strips of paper for your rosette – for mine, I cut out 2.5″ wide strips to create a 5″ diameter rosette.
Step 2. Score your paper and fold the scored lines like an accordion. Repeat with all your strips of paper.
Step 3. Now it’s time to assemble the rosette! Attach the ends of the strip to each other with an adhesive roller or glue. Link three strips together, and attach the ends of the strip together with glue as well.
Step 4. Press the middle and flatten to form your rosette. To retain its shape, add a supporting piece of cardstock on the front and backside – for a cleaner look, I cut a 4.5″ circle to cover the backside of the rosette and attached it with glue.
Step 5. Size and cut your lemon cutout – I sized mine at 4.5″ diameter for the top layer, 4.8″ for the bottom and about 4.2″ for the inside color. I sized them as such so they would fit well inside a 5″ diameter rosette. To make the top lemon wedge cutout, I made a triangle shape and rotated copies of it around the inside of the 4.5″ circle. I also cut small circles to use as spacing between the rosettes on my lemon DIY garland.
Step 6. Assemble your lemon slice – I used a glue pen to attach the lemon cutout to the two circle layers that I used my adhesive roller to attach together. Make as many as you want!
Step 7. Attach the lemon slice to the rosette with hot glue.
Step 8. Finally, it’s time to assemble the lemon DIY garland. I eyeballed the spacing but you’re welcome to measure it as well! Glue everything together with some hot glue and you are done!
This fun lemon DIY rosette garland is so perfect for a lemon-themed party or even as decor for a lemonade stand. I just love how lemons are so perfect for summer! What is YOUR favorite summer fruit?

Very cute! Thank for the tutorial. I think I’ll make a couple of these to decorate the outside of our spring craft fair booth- so eye catching!
