It’s a new year! It’s the perfect time for reflection and thoughts of the future. Many people set official New Year’s resolutions and plans for the year. I usually come up with a set of loosely defined goals and hopes for the year. No need to beat myself up if I don’t meet a goal – there is always next year, right?
Supplies needed to create your own New Year’s resolution achievement box:
- Any embellishments that strike your fancy. These are some of my personal favorites: White Washi Tape , Leaves & Bird Washi Tape, Fringe made with Fringe Scissors, Color Mists in Calico White
- Cardstock: Kraft Core Cardstock, Neutrals Cardstock
- New Year’s Resolutions Printable
- Photo Storage Box
Step 2: Lightly mist your paper with the spray mist. I love this product! It is perfect for adding dimension.
Step 3: This cardstock is unique because you can sand it to show the kraft core! Sand the edges of the paper.
Step 4: Cut a piece of fringe paper with your fringe scissors. This has to be my favorite craft tool right now!
Step 5: Embellish as you like. This is the best part!
Step 6: Print out the New Year’s Resolution printable, write your 2013 goals and tape it in the box.
Step 7: As you mark off a resolution during the year, add a memento to the box. At the end of the year, you will have a little time capsule to memorialize your amazing achievements!
