Hello Friends! I was in serious need of some organization on my nightstand. I have things laying about everywhere. From my glasses to my phone, random pens, and bobbi pins, my nightstand was a small disaster. I just had to clean it up. So I came up with this DIY charging station organizer to help me out. It was a pretty simple project to make!
- Wood Desk Organizer with Chalkboard
- Chalk Paint (I used Rouge)
- Foam Brush
- Chalk Pen in White
- Burlap Flower Ribbon (optional)
- Drill (optional)
I have a problem with my cell phone cord slipping off my nightstand. So to remedy that situation I drilled a small hole in the back of this organizer. That way I can keep my cell phone cord in place and it gives me a handy place to charge my phone. I sanded the area around the hole to give it a smoother texture for when it came time to paint.
I have a lot of red accents in my house so I chose this red chalk paint from Americana Decor. I love this chalk paint. Hands down my favorite paint. It dries with a matte chalk finish that I love. I applied it using a foam brush.
