  • Quart Sized Mason Jars (3 per organizer)
  • 12 inch Wood Planter Box
  • FrogTape Painter’s Tape
  • Chalkboard Sticker Labels
  • Chalk Pens
  • Acrylic Craft Paint (I used Sun Yellow and Fun Fuchsia)
  • Paint Brush

Make your own craft supply organizer with mason jars.Step 1: Paint your wood planter box.  To add more interest to my craft caddy, I painted the box two different colors – bright fuschia and yellow.

For a nice crisp line, use FrogTape to tape off both sides of the box with handles, as shown below.  Paint the long sides of the box and let dry. Re-position the painter’s tape and paint the short handled sides of the box with your other paint color.

Your little caddie is so cute, love colors and how the pretty stuff in jars looks. Will be a great addition to any room. I’ll have to scrounge up some more jars.

I seem to be in a super organizing mode so will pin this for future reference. Need all the ideas I can come up with to get my messes cleaned up. I’m currently working on my craft room, going thru my iris carts to combine some things. Got most of my rubber stamps out of carts in a box to sell. Have rarely used them for long time so decided to purge them. Have many things like that. I need to make room for a stand/bookcase in my craft room to store all my paints. Right now they’re all over room in any box I could find as I needed one. But when I need a particular paint can’t find it, eeeekkkkk. My craft room is quite small so have to do some major rearranging to get stand in the room.
All your organizational tips now are sure coming in handy, inspires me to keep going and I need all the coaxing I can get. Rather lie on couch to watch tv, lol. Well it’s waiting, bet go do something for little while til time for bed.

That is really cute and easy. You could even do this for your bathroom to hold make-up brushes, Q-tips cotton balls etc. just glam it up or stain the box or paint to match the vanity. Guess I will be making a trip to town to get what I need. Thank you for another great craft project.
