My guest bathroom is constantly evolving. I paint and change the theme more often than any other room in my house. I usually try to keep my decor neutral so that it will match any of my new paint colors. Neutral accessories saves me from buying new decor each time I change it up. I recently tried the printable cotton canvas and it’s perfect for using as labels to create fun mason jar accessories. I created labels with the cotton canvas to add to the mason jar accessories. They’re great for storing beauty supplies like cotton balls and Q-tips.
The cotton canvas was very easy to work with and I like the texture it gives to paper crafts. I’ve enjoyed adding it to my scrapbook layouts and birthday cards. All you need is a printer and a Silhouette machine to cut custom shapes and designs.
Supplies needed to make your own mason jar accessories:
If you’re familiar with Silhouette’s print and cut materials, you’ll see it is exactly like their printable sticker paper. Since I wanted to control the size of the square design manually, I did not use my Silhouette to cut the shape out. I simply designed it in the software by downloading this damask shape. I adjusted the size and filled in the space with text. Then, I used the fill color option. This will make the entire design black instead of just the outer lines.
I then printed the design without cutting it with my Silhouette. If you want the design to be cut by the machine, you could design a box around the shape and transfer the canvas back to the Silhouette mat. The printed marks on the corners help the Silhouette identify where it needs to be cut. Since I skipped that step, I simply hand cut the square shape.
