Hi Friends! I am bringing you another quick and fun teacher gift to start your new year off right – teacher care package ideas! This care package is so easy to make and should be a hit with any teacher. I was inspired by the teacher survival kits I’ve seen on Pinterest lately. This is my take on them. I like calling it a care package instead of a survival kit because I included other fun things like sticky notes and paper clips.
Supplies I used for my teacher care package ideas:
- Plastic Storage Organizer
- SMASH Paper Clips
- SMASH Sticky Note Pads
- SMASH Retro Clips
- Washi Tape
- Ribbon
- Laminator (optional)
- Teacher Care Package Printable Tag < Click to print
- Lotions, Mints, Chocolates, Chapstick, etc.
I love this 8 compartment storage container. It is the perfect size to hold all the goodies but small enough to fit into a desk drawer. I also loved filling the care package with fun sticky notes, pens, and paperclips.
I had so many teacher care package ideas and had a fun time picking out all the supplies. It brought me back to my teaching days and I thought about all the little things that I crammed in my desk at the time. Mints were number one on my list. I always kept a big jar of mints in my desk. They really come in handy after lunch time! Chocolate was a close second! It’s nice having a “secret” stash of chocolate close by! I also included chap stick, stain remover, and washi tape. I tried to think of practical things a teacher might need and some fun items they may not buy.
I tied it all together with a pretty bow and made up this printable tag. You can download the tag here: Teacher Care Package Printable Tag
I laminated the tag to give it some extra durability. That’s it! A simple and easy teacher care package!
What teacher care package ideas do you have? I would love to know!

As a former teacher, I have to admit to thinking bubble bath, a bottle of wine, chocolate, and a trashy novel!
I love Emergency Kits/Care Packages to give as gifts. I add Bandaids, Wet Naps, Cough Drops, tiny Altoid Tin, Mini Toothbrushes that have the paste already on the brush, travel size Tylenol, hand sanitizer, Carmex, travel size Kleenex pack, and a few safety pins. I like the Tide pen and will include in my future kits. Thanks for showing your kit!
My young ones are grown, but I will mKe this for my friends children, grandkids and family. GREAT IDEA FOR THE TEACHER!
