I love glitter. It just makes everything so much more special when there is that shine to it.
This project is is an easy alternative for dyed and decorated Easter Eggs–or you could add these glittery polka dots to your dyed eggs when dry for an extra-special effect! This would even work on plastic eggs.
Materials:
- Eggs (I used boiled)
- Glitter
- Glue Dots (Want to make these even fancier? Mix in a few smaller Glue Dots, too!)
Directions:
If using real eggs, boil your eggs and let them completely cool and dry. Place glue dot around the eggs.
I found it easiest to apply glue dots like above, instead of pealing it off with your fingers and placing it on.
Place glitter into a bowl wide enough to accommodate your egg and roll egg around.
Shake off excess glitter. And that’s all–your glitter polka dot Easter eggs are now ready to display and enjoy!
