Back to school is right around the corner for us. My kids are counting down the days until they get to see their school friends again. I have to admit, I’m going to miss the lazy summer days without a schedule and running out the door every morning. 🙂 However, I think getting back into a routine will be nice for all of us. With school starting soon, I’ve been thinking of fun teacher gifts to give my kid’s teachers. This I’m Glad You Were “Mint” To Be My Teacher printable and gift is so fun and easy to make. It only takes about 10 minutes to put together – and sometimes those are the best kind of gifts!
Supplies needed to make your own teacher printable and gift:
- Metal Tin
- Paper Trimmer
- Washi Tape (I used the black and white polka dot)
- Mint To Be My Teacher Printable
- Mint Candy
I think metal tins make great gifts! You can package treats, gift cards, or a quiet game for kids.
I started off by wrapping washi tape around the bottom of the tin. You could also cover it with cardstock to avoid showing too much of the tin.
I then printed the teacher printable gift tag and attached it to the tin with washi tape.
Note: The teacher printable is available with two tags per sheet. You can print the tags at home or send it to your local Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, etc. photo lab. If you choose to have it printed at a photo lab, you will need to select the 8 x 10 size.
Fill your tin with mint candy and you’re done. You have a quick, easy, and affordable teacher printable and gift to give this school year!
