Make Custom Art Kids Puzzles in 3 Simple Steps

Kids Stuff

Make your own custom art kids puzzles in just 3 simple steps! My kids LOVE to draw. They draw on anything they can get their hands on, so when I saw these blank puzzles, I knew I had to get them! You can create whatever image you like, paint them or color them and even add extra bling like glitter or gems if you’d like. We kept it simple and just practiced our drawing and the kids had a great time.

Make your own kids puzzleSupplies needed to create easy kids puzzles:

  • Create Your Own Puzzles Pack
  • Markers
  • Pencil and Paper to Practice On
  • Extra Embellishments like Glitter, Gems and Pearls (optional)

Blank puzzlesMake your own kids puzzle in 3 simple steps:

Step 1: First sketch out an idea on paper with the pencil so you get an idea of what you want to make before you put it permanently on the puzzle.

Step 2: Draw the design on the actual puzzle pieces.

Draw on paper and then draw on the puzzleStep 3: Color your design as you’d like using markers. Crayons or colored pencils would also work, but markers will be much more vibrant. If you’d like, add extra embellishments or sparkle, being careful not to cover any of the puzzle lines.

Draw and then color the art on the puzzleWhat I love the most about these mini kids puzzles is that they are the perfect size to fit into a greeting card. The kids can make their own fun puzzle art and then you can pop it in an envelope and send to someone special!

Finished puzzle artSuch a great activity they can enjoy again and again!

I love these puzzles! They also make unique “interactive” invitations too. I also have a jigsaw die that I can do a six piece puzzle out of cardstock. I like putting a photo on them (school pics work well). The kids love making them!
