My daughter saw a ribbon bracelet cuff from Anthropologie and liked it. I decided to make one for her seeing as all the jewelry I buy for her seems to get misplaced somewhere!
Let’s put that $38 back in our pockets…with just a few supplies and a few simple steps, you can make a very similar wrapped ribbon bracelet for much less! Let’s get started!
Supplies needed to make your own Anthro inspired wrapped ribbon bracelet:
- Satin Ribbon in Your Choice of Color
- Rhinestone Slider Beads
- Jumbo Craft Stick
- Water
- Small Cylinder Cup or Container
To make the base of the cuff, you will need to bend a craft stick into the shape of a cuff. To do this, soak a craft stick in water overnight. When you remove it from the water, the stick should be pliable enough to slip into a cup. Leave the stick in an empty cup to dry. You will want to use a very narrow cup, a little larger than your wrist.
When dry, remove the craft stick from the cup and hot glue the ribbon onto one end of the cuff.
Twist the ribbon over the cuff, overlapping slightly.
Before you get to the end of the cuff, cut a small piece of ribbon to cover the opposite end of the cuff.
Wrap the ribbon all the way to the end and slip under one wrap layer. Hot glue into place.
Personally, I like the cuff by itself without the rhinestones, but my daughter insisted on the rhinestones.
Glue the rhinestones onto the middle of the cuff with hot glue.
You are now ready to rock your Anthro inspired wrapped ribbon bracelet {for a whole lot less than the original}!
What ribbon and rhinestone colors would you use?

I am SO excited you showed how to make a cuff out of something easy. So many use an old cuff bracelet and I don’t have any. I can not wait to make one of theses!! thanks again
This is awesome!!
This looks great! I love the idea of using a craft stick too!
I LOVE this! I will ask my daughter if she’d like this as she loves wearing bracelets. What a cool idea using the craft stick for a cuff. I was expecting that I’d have to look for an old cuff or buy a plain one. This is even better. Thanks so much for sharing!
