Take one look at last year’s runways and you’ll definitely see just how popular Boho Chic will be in fashion this year. Long, flowing fabrics in gorgeous rich color hues? I love everything about boho chic, including the fun accessories that accompany it. Take one blank bracelet, add an inspirational message with a few colorful beads and you’ve got a gorgeous DIY boho chic inspiration bracelet. You can wear it alone for those simpler days or pair with tons of other bracelets for the full boho look!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY boho bracelet:
- Bracelet Blank
- Alphabet Beads
- Brass Rose Charm
- Assorted Glass Beads
- Beading Thread
Step 1. Decide on the inspirational word and layout you plan to use. I went with a flower/”bloom” theme but Consumer Crafts has tons of great charms that will match other inspirational words (ex. sewing thimble/”create,” seashell/”discover,” tea cup/”relax”). So many fun options!
Step 2. Begin by securing the thread to the bottom of the bracelet blank with a double knot.
Step 3. Pull thread up from the bottom and begin adding alphabet beads in place.
Step 4. Once you’ve added the word, you can begin filling in the rest of the bracelet blank with charms and other beads.
Making this DIY boho chic inspiration bracelet was so quick and easy that I’m tempted to make a ton for family and friends! I chose this stretchable bracelet blank because I already had it but you can adapt this tutorial for almost any type of bracelet (including this awesome leather one!)
I love the idea of pairing this with tons of other beaded and leather bracelets to really give any outfit an instant boho flair. Of course, some days I’ll just wear it by itself when I need an inspirational pick-me-up! Hope you enjoy making one of your own!
