The time has come to begin to work on all your handmade holiday creations. Luckily these clay confetti ring holder DIY cones are a snap to make, so even if you wait to the last minute to DIY all your holiday gifts, you will still have time to make these! I don’t know about you, but I am always in need of more storage, and these ring cones are not only perfect for storing rings, but they look super cute on your dresser or vanity.
Supplies to make your own clay ring holder DIY:
- 1lb Brick of White Polymer Clay
- Assorted Colors of Polymer Clay
- Oven and baking tray for crafts (you don’t want to use the same baking sheet to cook food after baking clay on it)
- X-acto Knife
Begin by cutting or breaking your pieces of colored clay into tiny bits and spread them out on your working surface.
Next, cut off a piece of white clay that is the size of a lemon. Roll and work the white clay into a thin cone shape.
Next, roll the clay cone on top of the piece of clay to adhere them to the cone and create the confetti look.
Use the X-acto knife to cut off the bottom of the clay cone and place it on your baking sheet. Bake at 275F for 20 minutes. Then remove and let cool.
I love that you can easily customize the colors of your clay confetti ring holder DIY cones to fit your friends favorite colors, and each brick of white clay will yield 6-8 cones depending on the size you make them, so they are a great way to make an affordable gift for all your friends.
They also look pretty cute all lined up like little modern holiday trees too! So, what confetti colors would you want in your ring cone?
