Fall is right around the corner, and what better way to usher in the season then by creating this lovely succulent pumpkin centerpiece. Not only is this centerpiece simple to assemble, but using faux succulents makes it easy to reuse this centerpiece for years to come. Whether you are hosting an upcoming event or simply want to beautify your home, today I’ll share how to create one of your own.
- Carvable Pumpkin
- Artificial Succulents
- Hot Glue Gun
- Floral Foam
- Chalk Paint in Everlasting
- Spanish Moss
- Foam Brush
- Craft Knife
Step 2. To complete the look of this succulent pumpkin centerpiece, I wanted something a little more understated than the bright orange pumpkin color so I decided to paint it with chalk paint. I knew it could easily be transformed with a beautiful new finish. It took two coats of chalk paint to get an opaque finish. Be sure to let it dry in between each coat of paint.
Step 5. Now it’s time to add in the succulents. Start with the largest succulent and work around by adding in different styles of succulent picks to fill out the arrangement. The different styles and heights add some fun variety and interest to the centerpiece.
