I don’t know about you, but I’m a succa for succulents! The struggle is REAL when it comes to me keeping plants alive, and succulents tend to be a lot more forgiving when I forget to water them. The only thing better than a succulent is a pretty faux succulent, because let’s face it I forget to water my plants quite often! When it came time to decorate my new craft room, which is otherwise white, I wanted to add some life and color. I needed some succulent DIY planter ideas to liven up the space. This color blocked cement planter definitely did the trick!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY planter ideas:
- Large Hexagon Cement Planter
- Acrylic Paints
- Paint Brush
- Painter’s Tape
- Faux Succulents
- Decorative Rocks
- Dry Floral Foam
For a finishing touch you can add decorative rocks around the edges. You could also use actual soil if you wanted. The succulents are so real looking, no one would know the difference – your secret’s safe with me!
