Add a touch of winter to your door with this gorgeous DIY winter wreath. The mini sled adds the perfect touch to a green wreath. Also learn how to add white flocking to your wreath to give it that snowy appearance. It is easier than you think!
- Wood Iron Sleigh
- 20″ Artificial Pine Wreath
- Wood Craft Stick
- White Corrugated Paper
- White Mesh Ribbon
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
Start by giving your wreath a little white flocking. Use the Snow-Tex and apply to each branch of your wreath. Use a wood craft stick and your fingers to apply. This is a bit messy but worth it!
Set aside the wreath and allow to dry. I left mine over night. In the mean time you can use your Silhouette to cut snowflakes and letters for your DIY winter wreath. I choose a couple of snowflake shapes and cut the letters from the center of a circle as shown below.
Add the bow and sled onto the DIY winter wreath with some wire. I used wire from the Bowdabra on the bow and it was long enough to wire both to the wreath. I left long tails on the bow and intertwined them with the wreath on the sides. Then add those snowflakes with a bit of hot glue.
