Do you know what an Artograph is? I did not know what it was until I was browsing for paint supplies. I had no clue that they made something like that for consumers. When I was in school I used an overhead projector and loved it. I used it any chance I could when drawing large scale items. Let me tell you, I think the Artograph is so awesome. It projects the image in color, too. Who woulda thunk it?

Directions:When you use the Artograph it works best in a dark room. I started my piece late in the evening and turned off all the lights and traced my image in pencil.
Find an image that that you like. Follow the manufacturers directions for assembly and usage. Hang your canvas or place on an easel and project your image onto the canvas.
Use a pencil to trace the image. If you want to get really creative, you can use watercolor pencils to trace the image. Use colors that coordinate with the paint you intend to use. The watercolor pencil lines will blend in with wet paint.
