There’s nothing that screams “Spring” more than the abundance of fresh flowers that are starting to pop up in your garden. Here’s a super easy way to customize small milk bottles to create these fun hanging DIY vases to display your spring floral masterpieces!
- David Tutera Mini Milk Bottles
- 16 Gauge Silver Craft Wire
- Double Sided Hercules Tape
- Darice Extra Fine Gold Craft Glitter
- Paint Brush
Step One. To begin making your DIY vases, use double-sided tape to make two stripes around the bottom of each glass. The Hercules Tape from Consumer Crafts is one of my all time favorite craft supplies!
Step Five. Hang your DIY vases across a window or on a wall, add water and flowers, and enjoy! How pretty would this be as a wedding or bridal shower decoration? You could create these hanging vases to drape across the bridal head table for the bride and bridesmaids to put their bouquets in!
It comes as a surprise to many but I’m actually not the biggest fan of working with glitter most of the time. I know that’s almost blasphemous in the crafting scene but it’s just so messy and difficult to work with usually. That’s why I love using strong double-sided tape for projects like this. Just add some tape, roll in glitter, and you’re good to go!
In just minutes you can have these gorgeous hanging DIY vases and fresh spring flowers decorating your space. You could even hang this in a kitchen and store fresh herbs in the vases, ready to be clipped and used. Hope you enjoy!
