Making a cinnamon stick candle holder is one of my favorite crafts to make for fall and winter home decor. I like them because you can leave them out from September through February and they smell so good. Come February, it is all about the love in this house and we switch up the decor.
- Cinnamon sticks
- Twine or Hemp
- Clay Buttons From Previous Post – Fall Napkin Rings
- Votive Candle Holder
If using a recycled candle holder, wipe off any residue from the glass.
Apply a dollop of glue to the glass and press a cinnamon stick into the glue. Hold for a few seconds so the two can adhere together. Repeat the process until the cinnamon sticks cover the outside of the glass.
Don’t stop crafting there! If you have left over cinnamon sticks, get creative and make a wreath or fall centerpiece. I created a fun and unique cinnamon stick wreath.
To make the wreath you will need:
Cut the burlap into 3×6 inch strips. Wrap the wreath with burlap. Apply glue to the inside of the first piece and tuck the edges in. Hold in place for a few seconds allowing the glue to dry.
