My mom likes to give me glass cups. I don’t know where she gets them from, but I know her garage has tons of glass vases and cups. I usually use them for drinking, but you only need so many.
I decided to upcycle some of these cups to make a striped glitter vase for a tea light or small floral arrangement.
Its so easy to transform this plain old glass cup into something beautiful–perfect for small centerpieces at your next party.
On a clean glass cup or vase, roll out double stick tape. If the cup is a tapered, try to flatten out the tape as much as possible. It does not need to be perfect because the glitter will cover the bubbles.
Sprinkle glitter onto cup.Or roll the cup in the glitter.
After the tape is covered with glitter you can use your vase. What I love about this is if you get sick of the pattern you can just remove the tape. If you want something more permanent you can use spray adhesive instead of tape.
