Step 1. Download and print this free printable wall art (it’s a printable quote by the illustrious Mae West) on 8.5 x 11 white card stock. MAJOR ALERT: For the foiling step to work, you have to print this on a laser printer, NOT an inkjet printer. Most of us have inkjets at home so you will probably need to print this at an office supply store. Fortunately, it’s very cheap to print black and white – we’re talking pennies.
Step 3. Run this through the foil applicator machine (see yesterday’s post for details). I used heat setting 3.
Step 1. Download and print this free printable card with the Mae West quote. You’ll get two cards out of an 8.5x11in paper.
Step 2. Cut the paper right down the middle, length-wise. (That’s cutting at 4.25″ across).
Step 3. Fold the strips in half width-wise.
That’s all you need to do if you want a simple card. But, if you want to jazz it up, I support any and all reason to craft longer.
Step 4. (Optional): Cut the quote out and use adhesive tape runner to adhere it to a complementary colored card stock. Then, cut a piece of card stock 4.25 x 11″, fold in half and adhere the quote to the front.
