If you visit my blog every once in a while, you’ll know that I absolutely adore decorating. Fall is probably one of my most favourite seasons to decorate because it’s all about layers and rich colours. And it doesn’t take much DIY fall decor to make a big impact. Today, I’m showing you how to create these simple and oh so pretty fall mason jar lanterns. Follow along to learn how to make your own!
These mason jar lanterns – with “fairy lights,” as my girls call them – take a minute to put together! They’ll look great in nearly any space in your home – on your mantel, bookshelf, entryway table, anywhere!
Supplies needed to make your own DIY fall decor lanterns:
These jars were scooped up at a garage sale. I feel like mason jars are synonymous with fall, as harvest-time means preserving and canning.
Add a few leaves and the fairy lights, and suddenly, you have a beautiful lantern luminary. You can make these lanterns as part of a vignette, or as centerpieces for a big table full of friends over for dinner.
